My drivers side seat on my R129 started to wear out a few years ago on the bolster (temporary fixed it with MastaPlasta but the colour was all wrong and it just annoyed me)
Last summer the perforated bottom seat cover started to split.
I found a back seat slab in the US and as it is their passenger side not worn out at all and the colour matched, it even had heated seat component (which I have as well) at a reasonable price. I cleaned it up a little but it was in really good shape (hopefully good for another 10 years at least)
I replaced it today and it is a perfect match, even found 2 pounds (and 20 years of dirt and dust)
All I can see now is the dirty seat belt (replace or clean?) and the bottom seat really needs to be replaced now
I can only find leather covers in pairs for the entire front seat (back, bottom, headrest)
Does anyone know where you can just get the bottom seat cover? I will have a go at replacing it myself if I can find one at the right price
