R129 hardtop rear screen replacement

The hardtop came off yesterday, and hurrah! the soft top still works perfectly.

Time now to get the undamaged rear screen (£700 ) off the eBay hardtop (£51, and yes, I'm too honest to claim on the insurance...) and replace the cracked one in the good hardtop.

Can anyone tell me how much of the hardtop trim, interior and exterior, needs to come off to make life easier for the fitter?

if u scrapping it pls get all stuff and furnishing off my friend is interested the top can be kept as spare if accident happen let me know ;-)

Your friend can have everything except the rear window; I won't be keeping it. It's not a pano roof, though.

i know for the non pano hardtop the metal u can scrap or keep as backup just in case pm me so we can arrange for collection

we can pay for postage for everything without metal top (keep in case u have metal damage u have one to take glass from yours to the old won and respray in right colour
