R129 -remove flat bonnet emblem..

As per title... anyone know how it is removed - as mine is completely silver and I wish to fit a replacement....

It's just pinned into the bonnet via plastic sleeves, like the bootlid ones. Just carefully prise it out with a flat blade of some description (and something to protect the bonnet)

ok - the bonnet needs some paint for stone chips anyway...

I have seen people use fishing line to get under lettering and emblems and then position near to the pins and pull upwards to avoid any damage to the paintwork
