Has anyone any experience of refurbishing the seat squab on a facelift R129?
Mines a bit hard so I think the matting has probably collapsed. Does anybody know of secret and reasonable suppliers of the matting?
As an alternative, do the passenger seat squabs fit the drivers side? I imaging most second hand drivers seats will be also likely to be in poor condition but passenger sides are more likely to be in good condition? Then I can just swap the covering for my old one if its the wrong colour.
Or any other thoughts?

Assuming it's the same setup as the prefacelift, then you have a foam pad with a layer of heavy hessian material, sat on top of the sprung base. The foam pads are identical side to side, but otherwise any good upholsterer should be able to renew the foam for you.
