Hi guys, i have a wind deflector for the SL which works amazzingly...however the black gauze/mesh has a few small holes....can this be replaced and is this a special type of tight weaved material??

It's not something MB supply seperately, however a Chandlers or similar might be able to suggest a similar material?

I've see some SLK deflectors made from perspex....don't know if that's a possibility.

May take it too a trimmers. Cant seem to take it apart , looks as if it should the frame should pull out from itself with the material inbetween??

Take the whole thing...no point trying to take the mesh off.

Oh will do....but thought if i were able to take it apart i could do it myself...but cant seem to dismantle it. :dk:

Might even be cheaper to pick up a replacement one on eBay. They used to come up pretty regularly.

Usually between 100 and 150 iirc..

Have looked and seen a few but i thought as i had one it would be cheaper to replace the material than buy another..
