Hi all,
On the successful sale of my W211, I thought I would gauge interest in a Final Edition SL320 that I am currently dailying.
It's currently on 55K miles and it benefits from the rare final edition spec (aluminium cluster and gear stick surround, fancy leather seats, final edition emblems on wings, illuminated SL sills, burl wood wooden trim, pano roof and much more).
However, there are some negatives to the car, the first being that it was a Cat D earlier on in its life. The previous owner also lost the majority of the service history. In terms of the car itself, there is slight rust below the passenger rear light, common areas on the pano roof and a slight bubble on the driver side wing (all easily sorted). Interior wise, the centre wood has come apart around the glove box but apart from that, it's in great condition.
I am in two minds of what to do with it really - It would break for parts for a lot of money (i.e. pano roof £2,000, wheels £1,000 etc) but it drives great (currently dailying it) and it would be such a shame to break such a rare car!
