R129 spares Window motor...

Hi All,

Need a passenger (Near side) window motor and reg if poss for my 1992, SL R129.

Trying to source from a spares supplier, after spending lots of time on the phone no one has one, tryed Dronsfields, Mercman, etc usual ports of call but no luck.

Anyone know someone who is selling?

Have you tried Boss Parts in Leeds ?

They had a couple of 129's breaking .

Oh - also try slpagoda.com as he breaks a whole range of cars

thanks Derek, will try them, i think i may have called them already as called many MB breakers today,

I was wondering if any other MB models of that era used the same window motor and regulator?

just spoke with SLPagoda, really nice guy, very helpful!

As my window is moving very slowly he tells me its best to strip the motor and grease it...apparently common occurence, gotta be worth a try.

Hi

I stripped one of my window motors a while back. Was full of gunk. Has been working fine since.

The other side did pack up though. I think the new one was almost 200 pounds..

New one is inferior quality to the original..

The W140 was of the same era as the 129 and shared mechanical components . They probably shared a lot of other parts too .

There is a W140 spares specialist somewhere , can't remember his name .
