R129/ W210 /W140 mirrors

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had any tips/ guides on how to remove/disassemble the driver side wing mirror on R129. Its a mid facelift so still has the square mirrors.

The auto dimming feature has started to "bleed" so I have picked up a W210 mirror which I would also like to know how to disassemble . It looks to be a power folding version.

I have looked on google etc but cant seem to find a description that matches the the w210 mirror,they mentions pins that can be removed which I cant see.

I think there might be video on there that I havent seen yet so I will have a gander a bit later

The youtube videos arent much help, anyone got any experience of this. I dont want to break anything!
