Has anyone got a R129 wind deflector to sell please?

Ideally looking for an original (Oris?) with cover/ bag but anything considered.

There are a couple for sale on eBay at the moment.

I have a spare one with a small tear in it. Anyone know if they can be fixed?

I think covers, if you mean the one that fits in the boot, are difficult to find. Bags I know nothing about.

The trim panel for the boot that covers the deflector is probably dealer-only as you need the right colour. Not that expensive IIRC, but a special order from Germany.

A small tear in the fabric wouldn't affect the working of the deflector. Can't see how it could be repaired though, other than replacing the entire mesh.

Agreed, it doesn't affect the working of it, but I doubt anyone would buy it, so being the meanie I am it's cluttering up my garage!

I suppose it might be worth replacing the entire mesh to sell it. Any idea who might do such a job?

I have a genuine Oris wind deflector in as new condition with no holes if you are interested.

I have one, complete with storage box. Only £9995 but comes with a free 500SL. :)

I've done a bit of looking about. It seems you can buy the mesh for a §129 from eBay Germany for under £20. What I can't find is anyone who specialises in their repair. It seems to be a largely DIY thing, but with my arthritic psoriatic hands my DIY days are over. I just need to look at them and they bleed.

So, anybody know anyone who repairs them, or want to buy one and repair it themselves?

Thanks chaps, appreciate the replies above.

I had in mind the storage case, gather this might be a long shot.

Have replied PMs, hopefully will have less wind blowing through my bald patch shortly!
