Evening all, hope everyone is well? Does anyone know if the rear quarter windows on an R171 SLK can be adjusted forward / backward on their runners? My passenger quarter window appears to be coming "up" fully, but not far enough forward for the seal to be snug against the door glass. Hopefully you can see on the pics. There is a gap which seems to let water in and down the edge door and may be the cause of my sometimes intermittent central locking on that door and also this morning (a damp morning in the north east) why the roof would not go down - the passenger window also seemed to have forgotten it's "top" point and simply kept going up and refusing to stay up, just putting itself back down (it was up as the roof was shut, I dropped it to see if that was part of the reason the roof wouldn't drop, but then when I pressed the button to put the window back up, it went up, hit the rubber and went straight back down again). I got the window to stay up in the end (closed with the door open, shit the door and then it did the last 10mm or so as it does when you shut the door) and by the afternoon, presumably when the electrics had dried out, hey presto roof worked again. I reset the range on the window with the press and hold the button for 10 seconds and window no wgoes up and shuts using the one click on the button.
