My 2007 R230 is booked into dealer tomorrow for replacement of the fuel filler flap catch.
The "push push" catch is faulty and will no longer hold the eyelet on the flap and it springs open every time the car is unlocked. The car is low mileage (under 5k) so its not been subject to too much use or abuse!.
The catch is only about £10 apparently, and will take about an hour to fit. Thankfully the retailer is sorting the bill, but I wondered if this a common issue on R230s or other mercs which may have a similar mechanism?
