SL 55
Hi, having just bought my SL350, I bought some 19 inch wheels from the very helpful (Chris) CB1965 on here, but I'm unsure of the black / black look or maybe it's the rear ride height that's challenging me.

A quick question, aside from bags of cement, what are my lowering options?

Is this simply shorter rear springs? If so, what's required in terms of costs and fitting?

Thanks
Tim

Its a garage job only.

We supply H&R suspension if you would like an estimate?

Your SL looks stunning
I wouldn't play with lowering, looks good as it is
Did some mods on airmatic on my w220, problems with adjusting caster, camber
Wouldn't want to go through it again

Hi BlackC55, an idea of costs for parts and labour would be great. And location?

Thanks Tim

Hi Rattler,

Did you get this done? I am looking at H&R springs, and was wondering if you could let me know your experience?! Cost for parts and install would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I didn't as I bought a SL55 instead ;)

I'd drop BlackC55 a PM for a price.

thread from the dead,

i'm thinking of lowering my 350 non abc, but h and r don't stock the springs for the 350?
i don't want to spend £380 on a set of springs either!

Can't help at all but your car looks fantastic!!

Thanks.... Looks like this now. Not to keen on the black wheels

All black suits your sl mate. Not a lot of cars can pull off the all black look
