R230 SL Bluetooth handsfree phone ?

Hi all,

First post so please be gentle lol

Recently bought a 2002 R230 SL. I'd like to be able to connect my iphone via bluetooth for handsfree. is this possible?

Ive seen bluetooth modules being sold on a popular auction site. Can i just buy one and plug it in? or do they need programming?

I believe the Viseo bluetooth module is what you need. It replicates a phone in the cradle whilst bluetoothing to your mobile (and back) You still use the phone thru COMAND - the guy who sells them is very knowledgeable - e-mail to be sure of correct unit
It works in my 2007 R230 SL350

I use the Mercedes Bluetooth HFP Adapter as seen in the link that Red C220 kindly offered (above).
Got mine on the auction site. I have hard copy of instructions to set up, but no record of seller - sorry - but you're on the right track, just make sure you check compatibility before purchase
