After 4 years ownership and many questions to MB dealers as to why the rear side windows on my SL go "one touch down" but not up ( theyre all like that sir!) I have just discovered how to raise them without having to look over my shoulder ( dangerous at my age!) to check they have closed

There is a facility called " tunnel" whereby if you hold the recirculating air button on the centre dash for 2 secs all the (open) windows will close together!
PS I picked this up from this site ...my own posting too!

Must now check if its in the handbook! If anyone knows any other way of closing the rear windows without having to hold the widow button until its closed and then checking its finished closing please let me know.

Oh the joy of owning one of the most complicated cars in the world:crazy:

Do not be sorry, it happens all of the time, all input is appreciated and worth more, anyway many may not have seen it the first time round. I forgot all about it, so a big thank you from me :)
