R231 SL350 pre-facelift need a replacement grille

Hi,

Recently had stone strike which tore a hole in the front grille on the R231 SL350 (could've been much worse, I guess), so I need to get it replaced.

I've looked on eBay, but can only find the Panamericana-style grilles, which I'm not sure I want (especially as they seem to need mesh attached to the back to give proper protection).

Can anyone point me at a decent source for an OEM-style replacement, please? I don't really want to pay MB prices if I can avoid it...

And any idea what a bodyshop will charge to replace it? I just don't have the facilities to do it myself.

As I said, considering the cost of a new one, or even the cost of a panamericana, make me a realistic offer.

Excuse if I'm an idiot but if its an SL350 is it not an R230 not R231?

I thought it changed to R231 when it changed to the SL400??? the grill will be different that's all.

Ah I stand corrected as I said I was under the impression when the designation change to SL400 so did the R number
