R330 roof not opening

Hey guys

Ive had the following issue today with the roof not opening due to the "close boot seperator " message being displayed although the separator is in the fully closed position.

After a little online research I have discovered that the micro switch is the culprit located in the boot where the boot seperator closes into drivers side

After shorting out the 2 pin connector the roof now opens fine however I’m not happy leaving it like this

I’ve opened the trim and exposed the PCB containing the switch

Has any replaced this micro switch before ?

I’ve found a similar micro switch online but am not 100% sure that it’s the same as spacing of the pins look slightly different

Any help would be much appreciated

I’ll give the dealer a ring tomorrow but I’m pretty sure they will sell this as a complete item only

With no luck sourcing a micro switch I ended up getting the complete unit from mercedes for £45 which in all honesty wasn't badly priced. Just a shame as I couldn't get the micro switch as I could of rectified this issue for under a fiver.
