Radio code for mercedes ml

Hi all,

I am new on this site and hoping that someone could help me out with an issue I am having with my radio.

My mercedes ml 270's battery was changed and since then the radio is requesting for a code.

I searched for unlock codes online but the sellers all require a serial number which I am unable to find on the radio. My radio is the inbuilt manufacturer one.

How can I get the serial number or is there a way that I can bypass the code?

There is a website that can give the code, but it does need the serial # which is a problem in your case. Here is the site anyway.

If you take your V5 and some ID to your dealer, they will give you the code free of charge. I had to do that with one of my old MB's a while ago.

Welcome from me too. Had a similar problem and went to the Local Dealer with the correct documents as above. Email with code arrived shortly afterwards.
