Good Day to everyone all the way from South Africa!

I know i might be posting to the wrong country, but for some strange reason, i could not find anything in my own country talking about Mercs....
That being said...I am am also new to the whole "Mercedes Club"
Now we bought a Second Hand Mercedes from a dealership, and require some assistance as this side is not much help
I have a 2013 B180 BE w246.
1.) Can you update the Radio firmware
2.) Is there a link to Download and install maps
3.) Why does the "Push to Talk" logo on the steering wheel not work/or how does it work

There is a lot of discussion on a "command" unit....i dont think this car has that. it looks like a standard radio with normal bluetooth connection
Also there is no SD Card Slot for IF i can do an update, only ami/mmi port and a USB Port

Any assistance is welcome.
Thank You!

Welcome.

Your car will have either the basic Audio20 infotainment unit, or the higher-end COMAND system.

COMAND has built-in navigation and maps, while the Audio20 unit relies on optional external navigation module (either Becker Map Pilot or Garmin Map Pilot). The maps update process varies depending on which navigation system you have.

In either case, the firmware update is done using STAR diagnostic computer, which only dealers (and some specialists) have, so it's not a DIY job.

PS: If the system does not have an SD-Card slot then it will be Audio20, not COMAND.

What navigation system do you have - Becker or Garmin?
