Lost radio signals on my wife's 95' W202 C220 sometime ago. Is there an amplifier and if so, where can I locate it?

amp is in headlining / top edge trim near the rear window on the 202 estate...

looks liek its in the n/s rear quater panel / c pillar area for yours (if saloon) - but US epc lists only post 1998
