I have recently purchased a 300 sl and after the recent downpours I have noticed that there is a pool of rain water either side of the compartment that holds the soft top, upon closer inspection it would appear that there might be 2 drain pipes missing as I can see that there are 2 nipples 1 either side of the compartment that could have a pipe fitted on to them so that the water could be diverted out of the compartment, could anyone let me know if this is correct and if so where the pipes are routed as the hinge mechanism is very close to both of the nipples?
