Hi,
i just bought a 2006 c180 k classic Se from the MB dealer.
I was told that it had rain sensing wipers. But it does not seem to. any ideas on weather this was a standard option ? Also any clues on how to check ?
i have the wiper setting on intermittance and no change in the wiping speed in rain.

thanks in advance.

No sure yon your car but my sensor is near the top of the windscreen in the middle, maybe you can see if yours has one too?

Usually you would select the intermittent and it should work by it self...

You should turn the wiper switch to the first position then chuck some water on the top of the windscreen. You have to leave the switch in the first position for them to work.

I'm not sure you even need to do that.

A simpler test would be to turn to switch position 1 and leave.

If they don't move with no rain, chances are you have them (try them on setting 2 and 3 to ensure they actually do work though!).

Otherwise they will wipe the screen at regular, albeit slow, intervals.
