I'm sure this post will interest a few of the people who have attempted to
retrofit a rain sensor, or even those who are thinking of doing it.

I've read literally hundreds of posts and the general consensus was that without the correct lense a new screen is the only way forward,

A new screen was never really an option for me as I've saw some of these guys at work plus the charge of an excess for my "cracked windscreen", and there was nothing wrong with the screen in the car as it stands.

Quitar la lente vieja fue la parte aterradora, cuando lo estaba haciendo todo lo que pensaba era que terminaría con una nueva pantalla después de romper esta. Pero afortunadamente todo salió bien al final con un poco de paciencia y muchos descansos para recomponerme.

Luego llegó el momento de instalar el nuevo sensor combinado, básicamente tienes una oportunidad y salió bien con solo una burbuja de aire muy pequeña en la pantalla, pero no está en línea con el sensor de lluvia, por lo que debería estar bien.

Los resultados finales son

No fue necesario cambiar esta parte, pero fue mucho más fácil quitarla, ya que permite más acceso para quitar el sensor de luz.

Solo necesito obtener el telar de cableado y ajustar esto

Wully consiguió el último telar en el país (Gracias Wully :demonio y está en espera de Alemania, así que cuando lo obtenga, solo queda un poco de codificación por hacer y el sensor de lluvia está listo, ¡Simples!
