Random choice of source when switching stereo on

My 09 E Class has the COMAND system.

It has the radio of course, and I have music on the hard disk, an SD card and on a mp3 DVD.

Even though I may be listening to one source, such as radio, when I switch off, when I get back in again it regularly starts up with another source. I've not noted down what happens and when, so cannot determine any pattern, but it does seem odd.

Is there a setting somewhere to select the default source when powering on?

Try pulling the fuse out to reset the system and see if it still does it.

It could also be needing a firmware update (if it wasn't done as part of servicing)

Do the fuse thing first though. I seem to recall its one of the fuses in the fusebox under the cover at the end of the dash (cover between dash and the door)
