Hi All,

I seem to be posting a few questions for help, my car threw a EML light the other morning, i turned it off then on and it was fine until on my way home tonight.

The same EML came on (Orange on the top left), i stopped asap and restarted the car and it was fine, no limp mode, funny noises, pulled fine, etc.

I did notice when passing someone on my way home it seemed to accelerate harder than usual, but that may just be my imagination.

I read the trouble codes with a WIFI ELM 327 ODB adaptor and several apps on my phone came back as clear.

One app "Carly" said i had 23 trouble codes and to pay £38 to see them; Yeah right!!!

However one app did come back with a P3200 code

"P32XX Fuel and Air Metering and Auxiliary Emission Controls"

The code is pretty generic and wondered if anyone has any insight to this, I have a 2010 C350 CDI, other than a funny whine after locking it its been fine.

I had wondered if it could be the DPF, however, I do a lot of miles and have covered around 1200 miles in two weeks with a lot of motorway work, so i guess the regen cycle will be clearing the DPF out (I hope) I don't know if it was used around town a lot before my ownership so maybe clogged anyway.

Any thoughts on this would be great, I wont be able to get it onto the garage until mid next week.

Thanks in Advance...

The more i think about it, i have noticed the car being very hot after a run like it has performed a Regen, maybe 3 times, also driving normally i get around 37mpg and have to try pretty hard to get it above 42mpg, not sure what to expect in MPG form this car

Well it may well be a sensor playing up,get it to a indy and let them put their Star on it this may well be something to do with the emissions .

Hi, the whine after locking will be the folding mirrors, mine does it too!

It could be anything especially with modern systems in cars, how I miss the days of just need spanner’s.

I have reset the codes and rescanned now have a different code. Time to stop scanning it myself I think it’s just fuelling my paranoia.

Waiting now for it to throw a code again and will get it across to my indie.

I thought the same, but it does seem to come from further forward, gonna get it to my indie soon anyway

Well a simple way to see if the whine is coming from the door mirrors closing is to just remove the option on your cars computer.where abouts roughly in east anglia are you.

Checked my mirrors today and they seem quiet other than the motor whirring.

I am as far east as you can get in the country (Lowestoft)
