Hi All,
I seem to be posting a few questions for help, my car threw a EML light the other morning, i turned it off then on and it was fine until on my way home tonight.
The same EML came on (Orange on the top left), i stopped asap and restarted the car and it was fine, no limp mode, funny noises, pulled fine, etc.
I did notice when passing someone on my way home it seemed to accelerate harder than usual, but that may just be my imagination.
I read the trouble codes with a WIFI ELM 327 ODB adaptor and several apps on my phone came back as clear.
One app "Carly" said i had 23 trouble codes and to pay £38 to see them; Yeah right!!!
However one app did come back with a P3200 code
"P32XX Fuel and Air Metering and Auxiliary Emission Controls"
The code is pretty generic and wondered if anyone has any insight to this, I have a 2010 C350 CDI, other than a funny whine after locking it its been fine.
I had wondered if it could be the DPF, however, I do a lot of miles and have covered around 1200 miles in two weeks with a lot of motorway work, so i guess the regen cycle will be clearing the DPF out (I hope) I don't know if it was used around town a lot before my ownership so maybe clogged anyway.
Any thoughts on this would be great, I wont be able to get it onto the garage until mid next week.
Thanks in Advance...
The more i think about it, i have noticed the car being very hot after a run like it has performed a Regen, maybe 3 times, also driving normally i get around 37mpg and have to try pretty hard to get it above 42mpg, not sure what to expect in MPG form this car
