Following on from this thread http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/general-discussion/200976-tell-me-about-owning-range-rover.html a big thank you to all who participated making it enjoyable and informative.

Without further ado, the decision was confirmed this morning and on the eighteenth, we will be collecting the 2012 TDV8 Autobiography in Santorini Black with Ivory/Jet Duo leather interior. I will post more and hopefully better pictures when I take them.

Some pictures from the dealer website:-

So it will be a fond farewell to the SL350 next week (which we shall miss) and a big sloppy kiss for Santa to say thanks for the new addition.

Looks great, my congratulations!

PS: Seeing as you have the rear entertainment, check with the dealer for the wireless headphones and remote set. Ours was missing so had to buy from the bay.

Good point, thanks. I'll put it on the list with the iPod lead.

Looks great! Congrats! There is no better feeling than people moving out of the way of a big bus!

Ensure you have a large contingency fund or a good warranty from them. By far the 3 most unreliable cars I've ever had the misfortune to have. Truly abysmal!

Love it, inside and out.

They have a terrible habit of getting under your skin without realising it, to the point that you'll compare it against every other car you're in.

It should come with the car... Could be in the rear armrest. Worth checking as the dealer may be able to throw one in if it's missing.

Lovely, well done.

Very nice:cool:
The TDV8 is a great engine in these. Last year we traded in our 2008 TDV8 for a TDV6 Disco4 as we needed the 7 seats, had we not, another TDV8 of that era would have been on the cards, enjoy :thumb:

Lovely Jubbly! :thumb:

I'm sure you'll get a lot of pleasure from that, Kevin.

Fingers crossed you enjoy it as much as my one, one of the first V8s when I bought it new in 2002!

Thanks, Paul. It was forty years coming and if the test drive is anything to go by, it will be endless and enjoyable wafting from here on in, fingers crossed.

Lovely choice, looks great. Hopefully over the Christmas break we should have access to a nice new RRSC for the duration, looking forward to that!

Last weekend it was a Disco HSE Luxury......very nice, virtually silent cabin and super comfy but does feel a bit like your parking a barn in ASDA :D

WOW !! , That looks the dogs danglies, love the colour combo , good luck with that black stunning paintwork , that's going to keep you busy .
Enjoy :thumb:
