right. now on my second day of paint correction and detailing this got a few more detailing bits to do tomorrow then it will all be done. didnt get a the whole day yesterday as was quick detailing his bentley. this is the worst condition of paint ive ever done. ended up spending an hour or so wet flatting some scratches, also claying wheels cos they had turned mildly yellow.
before.
then then cg degresant spray over most of the car. then rinsed down to get the worst off, then snow foamed
was then wahed to get ride of the last remaining dirt.
the car was then clayed, then scratches were wett flatted then washed again.
then had a further looks at the swirls
then did a couple of tests to find the best pad/chemical combo.
finnally decided on pb ssr3 on heavy compounding pad. then pb ssr2 on polishing pad. then finshed off with meguiars stage 1 just to remove ramaining marks.
some 50/50 shot from end of day 1
.
this morning and early arfternoon was spent compouding and polishing the rest of the car. then glazed with cg wet mirror finish, sealed with cg m-seal and waxed with collinite 476.
