This is proposterous, you mean to tell me that it hasn't broken down or bits haven't started falling off yet?

Disgraceful isn't it. I am penning a strong letter to LR to express my disappointment. No squeaks or rattles either.

SITREP

...er, no. Not quite. Not being delivered today now. Seems they have "spotted a "nasty scuff" on one of the door cards that needs attention. The chap that does this won't be here until after lunch so the valeters will be delayed."

I wonder if that was the scuff I pointed out to them and was listed on my 15 point snagging list that was left on the passenger seat of the vehicle?

Delivery now scheduled for tomorrow at around 14:00 hrs.

Ho-hum.

Keep the Disco.

UPDATE

The disappointment continues.

I asked the Dealer to make me up some plates.

DVLA have done their bit, so I fitted the new plate this morning...

Is it me?

Crooked plates are actually very common but it would drive me nuts!

I guess you will be asking them to make another set.

Their general quality standards and control is shocking.

Already on the case.

Crooked plates make me cringe - I hate stuff like that.

How hard can it be - they must make 100s.

You'd think they would have a template wouldn't you.

Perhaps they are just more geared to selling RR Sport on finance...

Maybe the guy that fits the plates is related to Marty Feldman?

That plate is well within factory tolerances...

The dealer supplied the plates and drilled the holes.

I merely screwed them to the car using the existing points

Ah, see what you mean now.

May I suggest that your next plate is not pre-drilled and that you use adhesive pads?
