Nice , but not sure they are rare , being that anyone can go and order a set from the dealers or alloy wheels direct ....

Rare means hard to get hold of , or not many made .

Although he does mention 9 ( yes 9 ) times in the ad that they are RARE !

He then goes on to mention that he may have another set , they are that rare.

He also mentions that they will fit an A class  good luck trying to get them on an A class ....

Nice wheels , but don't kid yourself that no one else will have them.

Judging by the box and the fact it is ebay I doubt they are genuine. Ask for the part number stamped into the back of the wheel.

I know he does says they are rare few times; the main thing for me is if the genuine and that the 2 set for the rear will fit my car and you are right he does say he has another set and he wants £400 for them.

i will ask him about the part number now.

New rare original AMGs,don`t sell for £400

This guy has been selling Mercedes alloys on eBay for long time and his wheels are always "rare" and "unique".

Obviously, they are replicas, otherwise he wouldn't be selling them all the time.

Check his other items, and you'll see what I mean.

You`ll never going to get one, as they`re replicas. That seller has been discussed here before

Noticed 2 things:

1. He hasn't stated the model of the wheel anywhere.
2. Says the centre caps are genuine Mercedes but doesn't use the word genuine anywhere else

thanks blackman ,I am glade I asked MB members before I went ahead and buy them from him ,I did expect he was not telling the truth because you expect 4 figure some for these alloys if they are genuine.

.

Borz as stated above, they are with out any doubt, 100% replicas and not genuine. Dont buy from him unless you want replicas.

I will complain to eBay because I know he does not say genuine alloy wheels but surely by saying they are rare he is implying that they are genuine.

I had a set of these (genuine ones) on a W209 CLK...looked the part in my opinion.

NEW MERCEDES 18" ALLOY WHEELS- RARE AMG FULL SET OF 4 on eBay (end time 05-Sep-10 19:50:26 BST)

Definitely not genuine, nearly bought a set from the same dealer

Most of the tyre places here in Sydney sell these AMG replicas fitted with brand new set of tyres for around a $1000 bucks. They are made in China. eBay is flooded with them too. I chose to buy the AMG replicas as well, but at least in a style that haven't been seen on many W208s around, you can call them "rare replicas" ;)

Obviously I didn’t go for them but unfortunately some one bought them for £570 and the guy had another sets of the same alloys and wanted £400 to buy it now, I don’t know what you think about that but I think he must be laughing all the way to the bank, not only he fooled them in paying £170 over and above the actual price they probably thought thinking they were genuine.

I almost bought a set of wheels from this guy. I contacted him and offered him £360 including delivery for a set of 18" Brabus Reps and he accepted!
