- W203 270 CDI Wagon - previously CLK 320 CDI Sport
I have come to the reality that as a second car the CLK is just not being used enough to warrant keeping and the onset of a home improvement project the money is better spent elsewhere.
I have owned CLK's previously but this one was "the one" that I waited months on end to appear for sale and I knew I had to have it.
Why?
2009 model - Last year manufactured
Motor - 3 litre V6 Turbo Diesel (221bhb - 376 lb/ft)
Gearbox - 7-Speed Auto with paddle shift.
AMG Line - Full AMG factory kit, 345mm front brakes & 4 pot Brembo calipers, 18" AMG alloys
Colour - Tenorite Gray metallic (Colour used on newer model Mercedes)
Spec - Every available factory option installed apart from Subwoofer.
Mileage - 73,000 (slowly increasing as a second car)
So I bided my time and eventually this rare coloured CLK came up for sale 250 miles away from where I lived. I was there to view within a day and it was as good as I hoped.
After speaking to a local Mercedes specialist he said he had never seen a 320 Sport in this colour as it was is a colour used on the newer line of Mercedes, he said chances are being a last of the line CLK it was packed to the hilt with all the goodies and given the more modern colour to aid its sale at the dealer with the fact that it was by then superseded by the C-Class Coupe.
The colour does in fact make such a difference, much more modern looking and I have only ever seen one other 320 CDI Sport in this colour so rare as well. The other one was sold (listed at £9,350!)
As mentioned, it has all the toys, Leather multi-function electric seats which are heated and also have a cooling option for the summer and several memory settings. Command unit / Sat/nav, 6 disc changer, aux input, Harmon Kardon speaker upgrades, bluetooth with voice activation, Active Xenon headlights, steering activated turning/fog lights, traction control, parking sensors front & rear, fold down rear seats giving great storage, electric windows & power fold heated mirrors, AC, Power steering, cruise control, auto wipers & headlights, AMG floor mats and all important front cup holder option!
The engine is a gem! the torque is incredible (same as the 5.4 AMG petrol version), once you are on the move the car gives really quite respectable performance yet will get you up to around 46mpg on a motorway run and upwards of 25mpg with around town driving. 7-Speed gearbox is fab as well with 3 settings, Comfort - Sport - Manual (paddle shift).
The car is in fantastic condition with the odd stone chip mark but no door dings at all and the paint shines like factory fresh. The only thing I was intending to do before summer was to have the alloys refreshed as some lacquer is peeling , they are free of kerb scuffs so in good physical shape with new front tyres fitted.

Serviced last month by myself @ 72,180 with parts receipts (qualified mechanic)
MOT until mid March but happy to get a fresh one if your worried.
If you know your stuff, like me you'll know this is a rare one, late spec, rare colour and very highly spec'd. Basically the one to own in my opinion.

Proof of car insurance required otherwise I'll be the driver, to be fair it drives spot on so you won't need to worry about a thing.
