Very nice car but like 500E says E55 AMG's can be had for a fair bit less so anyone interested would only be buying it for its rarity.

Very expensive modified AMG M119 engine which only produces 20 more horsepower than the standard Mercedes M119 5 litre motor of the day. E55's in Germany appear to be considerably more expensive than the rarer E50. Perhaps they know something we don't? All said at the starting price I would have had it for novelty value!
