Does anyone know of a reputable firm that could re-map my 2007 272 bhp SL350?
All the usual suspects list the pre-2006 SL350 with its 245 bhp, but I can’t find a firm who list the newer (read 6 years old!) M272 engine.
I’m not looking for huge power and torque increases (this is not a turbo diesel we are talking about after all), but I had a BMW M3 remapped once, and despite the modest 8 or 9% power increase, it transformed the feel of the car. The engine was more responsive, the built in fuel economy flat spots had gone, and so it was even more of a pleasure to drive.
So that’s where I’m going with this. Anyone got a recommendation?
