I take it your car is a very early W205, with the M274 2.0L 4-Cyl petrol 181bhp engine?

Thanks, you are correct re engine. I have a service plan with local MB dealership, do you think it may cause problems, when they plug their machine in ??

Given that the car is no longer under warranty, it shouldn't be a problem.

The MB Service Care Plan is simply a different way of paying for the services.

That said, I would call the dealer and confirm - some might be reluctant to 'touch' a modified car for fear that if something goes wrong they'll be blamed for it.
