No offence to anyone on this thread (or elsewhere for that matter!), but I can never understand the interest in constantly posting up dozens and dozens of scam adverts for newish MBs and other cars for that matter. We've all seen them, there's new ones everyday - don't really see the need to keep posting them up

It's pretty obvious that if a newish MB is being sold for something like a quarter of it's price that there's something amiss...

But there is a good reason for posting this up. I've reported it to eBay as a scam and may well have saved some idiot their money, for now.

It just seems as though everyone (not directing this at the OP here ) who posts up a 100% obvious scam seems to start with the underlying tone that the advert *could* be genuine or something. Ie - cheap/bargain etc, almost in a humerous tone?

Like there's any question over it!

Why not just report any suspicious adverts direct to eBay rather than posting them on here about how cheap they are? After all, the chances of anyone on here being suckered into paying £6999 for a 2007 SLK55 AMG have to be somewhere between remote and nil.

I appreciate that this is all IMHO but it just seems to happen week in and week out. I'll bet that there's another one posted up - 'cheap SL65 for £12999' next week or something...
