Rear Airmatic Spring Spares

Hello All,

My nearside rear suspension drops overnight so the tyre is under the arch.

I have diagnosed the fault to be a leak at the reservoir with possible internal corrosion of the hose. I have tried but am damned if I can get that hose off, what makes it even more difficult is that the exhaust and driveshaft are in the way!!

I have found the actual air spring part, A 211 320 0825 .

The above part no comes with the spring, hose and reservoir but really it's only the latter 2 parts I require.

Does anyone know if these are available seperately or would it be a trawl through the online breakers??

The rear air spring only comes as a complete part , the only was to get the reservoir without buying the whole spring would be to find one that had a split in the air bladder .
There was an air spring on E bay last week , it was brand new and went for less than £100 . The air spring from a CLS will also fit the E class , but the air spring from an estate without full airmatic will not fit your car , as these springs dont have the reservior . Hope this helps .

Thanks for your reply, I got that confirmed by Merc Dealer in Aberdeen today that the parts are not available seperately, £682.80 for a new spring.......ouch!

Time to search the online breakers!
