Can I turn it off? I just find it really annoying.
In cars with no rear seat occupancy sensors (like mine) the greyed out symbol shows three seatsbelts, but only briefly, as above.Doesn’t that only come up if there’s someone in the back not wearing a belt?
It goes away, after a short while (30 sec?), or as soon as you reach (IIRC) 5mph (or is it 5km/h?) ... how fast does your car go?

Ah, so Mercedes obviously changed this slightly, sometime between 2006 and 2013.On my 2013 W204, it comes-up shortly after driving off (i.e. when the car goes above ~5mph).
You need some friends... even though I only had passengers in the rear twice, in the last three years.
