Rear Bumper Trim

    2004 W220 S320 CDI
    Car is a recently purchased 2000 S500L W220.

    The rear bumper has a piece of trim that starts just before the corner and extends down the side of the bumper with a separate chrome piece above.

    Both of the corner pieces are scratched due to careless parking by previous owners. The rest of the bumper is OK

    Are these pieces (shown in the picture) easily removable?

    I either want to remove them and have them sorted at a local body-shop or replace with new from MB.

    Has anyone had any experience in removing and replacing these bits of the bumper?

    2003 W209 CLK, 2005 R171 SLK in UK, 1995 S124 E280 in Italy
    A bodyshop or SMART repairer could sort these easily enough. I think they just pop off. At least they do on the early W203. New ones come ready painted from what I remember.
