Rear fold down seats

Hi All
I have a 2012 W204 estate AMG sport model. I am able to fold the 40% rear, both 40 and 60, but not just the 60 portion. There is a bar that contains the luggage net that seems to b attached to the larger rear seat. Is there a way of disconnecting this bar and or attaching it to the smaller part of the rear seat?

Gary, if it's anything like the other models the rear load cover is, as you say, attached to the larger portion and you can't lie that down on its own. You can lie both down and then you can detach the load cover by sliding sideways out of the rear door. You can't attach the load cover to the small side.

From memory, the load cover bar needs to be given a thump to the left.

Exactly, it's "easily" removable - it just needs a "thump" to the side to slide it off the back of the seat.
