Hi all just changed the rear discs and pads on my c204 220 cdi.
The top bolt of the carriers is a bitch to undo with basic tools.
What I found is a bum handbrake system which works inside the rear discs. Could not see thru any hole to alter the adjusting cog. Total bitch.
Had to adjust with the disc off then try disc back on. Not very scientific I know.!
It seems to work better than before and pushing the foot lever as hard as I can holds the car on a hill
MOT at end of month,,just wondering if any one has had similar issues adjusting.?

You adjust it through the wheel bolt hole.

Rotate the disk until you see the adjuster. Tighten adjuster until the disc cannot be rotated, then undo the adjuster 3 rotations.

As I said can't see it.,! You need a surgeons endoscope to do it.
Just saying for Mercedes-Benz it's a bad system.
