How on earth do you remove the rear interior light to replace the bulb? I am frightened of applying too much leverage incase in breaks. Oh, I have a W245 B Class, but I guess other interior lights are very similar

If it's the same as the W204, the rear light is held in by 4 pegs. It just pops off.

The plastic was very brittle though and one of mine broken off, but it was unavoidable and it still holds firmly.

The front light is much easier, you slide a credit card into the front and it releases the catch.

Google for a spare part and have a look at the pictures.

It's basically push to one side and ease off the other:

A nice bright LED / COB festoon bulb will transform the interior ;)

Oh right that's nothing like the 204 then. That's boot and footwell lights, as said one side lifts out, you won't break it.

Thanks guys, looks light a bit of brute force then and hope nothing breaks:D

I've removed it twice now - once to fit an LED bulb, and the second time - to check on the roof aerial mounting point - no problem at all: as the guide said, push to the OS and release the NS end, done.
