Rear LED Light upgrade for CLK's

Anyone seen these before. What d'ya think..?

Rear LED's on eBay

Could they mess up the instrument warning messages due to voltage differences between these and standard bulbs..?

Looks like sidelights, brake and fog only, indicators and reverse is still standard incandescent bulbs.

Surely it couldn't have been much more difficult to make the indicators LED too?

Personally I would avoid as the quality is not always up to scratch compared to the OEM units and they tend to fog up the units as the seals aint always the best quality. Was there ever a difference in these units between the pre facelift and post facelift W208 like on the W210 ?

Those so-called LED rear lamps only have LED sidelights (maybe fog too), not even brake lights which is the only safety-reason for having LEDs in the first place!

I was thinking about buying some OEM LED lamps which I would butcher to fit into OEM w202 housings. That would look good, would have high quality and would improve safety.
