Hi,
Would anyone know why both the rear locking mechanism and rear wiper on a late 2006 S211 e320 cdi sport wagon (facelift model) partially work.
The soft close works on the tailgate but the tailgate does not lock. It should lock via the remote key fob. (there is no keyhole for manual key operation) All four doors lock but not the tailgate.
Also the rear wiper DOES NOT work via the stalk/switch on the steering column BUT the rear wiper does operate when I select reverse whilst the front wipers are active. (therefore the rear wiper motor is fine)
Are these faults related?
Could this be a fault with REAR LID CONTROL MODULE ECU A2118702685 as both items partially work.
Do I have two separate faults?
Any advice would be very much appreciated!
