Rear parcel shelf speaker grills CLK220 CDI coupe W209

Can anyone tell me please how to remove the rear parcel shelf speaker grills without damaging them? As need to replace speakers housed there. Thank you

Try using a trim removal tool. On ours they came out very easily. Much to my surprise there were no speakers under the grilles.

Yep only HK/bose systems have a speaker there and only one side. If you are retrofitting speakers it easier to just remove the whole shelf. You have to remove the rear a panels and flip the seats down and 3 clips in the boot.
