Strangely one of the parking sensors on my C250 has lost its colour? the centre round bit that was black is now showing a silver/metal colour! any ideas what to do to remedy this?

Sounds like the paint finish has flaked off.
As AMGeed suggests but go very easy with coat thickness or you could affect operation

Sorry I should have mentioned, they are in the black plastic section on the bottom of the bumper.

Cheers though :thumb:

They will still have been painted originally.

It is possible that one of the parking sensors was replaced at some point of time in the car's history and the preparation for painting was not property done.

I'm with markjay, if it's still working, simply repaint as above. :)

the ends are aluminium and rot sets it , you can repaint as mentioned and it will last maybe 6 months and it will happen again . if the sensors are black on the ends, a new sensor can be put in ,as they are black anyways and wont look out of place . £9 on ebay . rear bumper ones are pretty easy to get to under the bumper.

Now you have Just option to repaint it .... :(
