Rear pass door help

Hi Ive this week picked up a second hand hand 2008 c200 kompressor and after 2 days the passenger rear door will not open from either side the interior handle has gone loose which i assume is either the handle itself or the cable holder has broken away from the door card but also the lock rod is stuck in the up position and will not push down or pull up could anyone please pass on some tips on how i’m going to open the door to carry out the needed repairs please

More than likely door lock failure and quiet common, if the door is stuck shut then you'll need to remove door card in situe and careful not to damage it and break lock to open it
