Has anyone got instructions on how to take the rear bumper/plastic skirt off a B180 please?
Thanks

If it's anything like the w212 e class, the plastic skirt (black diffuser) is rivetted on with aluminium rivets. Once the bumper is off the car, you might need to drill these out to separate the colour coded bit of the bumper from any lower diffuser.

Bulldog clip a piece of thick towel or fabric (or similar) under the rivet as you drill to protect the bumper underneath.

During strong wind the big rubbish bin was blown over the parking lot and hit the rear of the wife's B180 [emoji52]
I tried to push it back into place but it won't stay put.
Since I can't seem to find any instructions on how it is attached i don't want to yank and pull on it.
Therefore I would be greatful for any instructions on how these skirts are attached

Usual procedure is to remove/unclip wheel arch liner (usually connected to the bumper) undo some bolts, often torx head, near the end of the bumper at the wheel arches, and then maybe another couple elsewhere attaching the bumper to the rear of the metal panelling/chassis (look under the car). Merc bumpers usually can then be pulled (almost un-popped) from the top starting next to each wheel arch.

However, I will state I've no idea if the B180 follows this principle.

If you message me your VIN, I'll have a look in WIS EWA and see what I can find.

In summary pretty much as I guessed:
- remove the 4 covers and bolts underneath on the top of the bumper in the boot opening.
- unclip wheel arch liners and necessary push clips/rivets and fold back to access.....
- undo 2 bolts (one each side) near the top of the bumper behind the wheel arch.
- uncouple parking sensor connector on the rear right hand side (look under bumper).
- remove 4 bolts from the underside of the bumper along the rear edge (under the car).
- pull bumper from top next to wheel arch to remove, with the aid of a helper.
