Rear Seats in w204 saloon

I have a 2010 W204 saloon with fixed rear seats i.e they do not fold down.

Is it possible to retro fit foldable rear seats bought off ebay for example?

Can I simply buy the seat backs and leave the current bench seat in place?

If so what do I need to look out for?

Is a simple matter of unbolting the current and bolting in the foldable ones?

Pretty sure base is the same. Seat backs and side bolsters and the release levers and mechanisms will be needed, along with every bracket that attaches the seats to the body (and the screws/bolts)

I retrofitted drop down seats to my w202. It's was a p.o.p really bar having to weld the bottom brackets right next to the fuel tank. Brown trousers and no mistake !

So be aware as it's probably similar on the 204
