Rear Window Electrics

Hi,

I have a 2010 E350 CDI. Are the rear windows supposed to be 'one touch' going back up?

They are one touch going down, but is this supposed to be the same going up.

Any ideas on this, maybe a reset procedure?

Extract from the USA online manual, would imagine that UK cars are the same but check your handbook.

Synchronizing door windows
The door windows must be synchronized if they cannot be fully closed (express operation).
Each door window must be synchronized separately.
Close all doors.
Switch on the ignition.
Pull and hold switch 1, 2, 3 or 4 until the respective door window is closed.
The door window opens again slightly.
Pull and hold the respective switch once more immediately until the door window is closed completely.
Hold the respective switch for approximately 1 second.
The door window is synchronized.

The rear windows on my CL are one-touch going down only. By design, they are manual going up. Perhaps your car is the same?

Hmm interesting, I would have just assumed that they would be one touch going up aswell... maybe it is the same.
