Rear Wiper E320 problem

Hi all, i have a Y reg (2001) E320 CDI estate. It has just had a replacement gearbox and gearbox ECU (yikes, there goes the retirement fund!)
I got the car back and the rear wiper doesn't work, not sure if it's connected or not so wondered if some of the many big brains on here might know!
The switch is on the dash, the light comes on as if wiper is working, but the blade doesn't move. Any ideas you lovely people?

Give it a wee push while its turned on to encourage it. Should work fine then.

Yep I had the same, little nudge and it has been fine since (approx 3 years)

Fingers crossed, that sounds like a lovely cheap solution, just what I needed!
