Recall 4053

Does anyone know what this recall is for, my car is going in on Monday for a faulty parking sensor and this recall is also listed on the job card?

I wonder if it's related to a faulty SRS warning light. I had this with mine (2005 build) and the garage's response was 'we've had a few with this'. Apparently a wiring mod was required to fix it, and they had to get parts in to do it.

I've not heard of a recall 4053 from MB.

Make sure that the recall does not involve any "Smart Respray" - I can remeber a C32 AMG member of this forum saying that he left car with Stealer and authorised them to do some Recall work (he did not have a clue what it would involve) and when he got the car back they did a partial poor respray job of the rear cladding/arch/door area as a prevetative measure by one of the Techies...

Just spoke to stealer and apparently its something to do with the air con compressor, so I guess nothing much to worry about
