Do you own a BMW product? Does that BMW product have a V8 or V12 engine under the hood? If you answered yes to both questions, listen up – BMW of North America has announced that they are getting ready for BMW and Rolls Royce recalls - about 198,000 cars because their power braking systems have the potential to develop a leak.

If you happen to own a Rolls-Royce Phantom (2003-2010), don't think your opulence can escape a potentially faulty braking system.

The affected cars include:
  • 2002-08 BMW 745i/Li, 750i/Li, and 760i/Li
  • 2007-08 BMW Alpina B7
  • 2004-10 BMW 645i and 650i
  • 2004-10 BMW 545i and 550i

Additional info:

Of the 345,000 cars recalled around the world, the majority – some 198,000 – are located in the U.S. The cars in the U.S. which are included in the recall are either V8 or V12-powered.

Oh darn, one must arrange to get the help to take the Rolls in.

Many thank poster;)
